  • the matador is to kill the agressive bull with a sword
  • three parts to the sport
    • first part is when the bull enters the ring and the matador waves the capes to get the bull angry, the capes would be red
    • the second part is when banderilleros dodge the bulls charges, and put barbed darts into the bulls back which would get them angrier
    • the third part when the matador confronts the bull with a sword in one hand and small cape in the other, the cape is used to enitce the bull to charge him and then he uses the sword to kill the bull. but that is only if the matador did the process properly
  • there are a few differences in the bull fights though between latin america and Spain
    • in latin america there are smaller and lighter bulls, and that gives faster speed. also matadors in Latin America use greater variety of passes
